Toronto Booksellers Terrified of Zionist Persecutionby John Burns
The other week
I was in Seekers Books while playing with my handheld videocamera.
After asking the 2 employees (acquaintances) for permission to shoot a fast scan of the store,
they agreed.
I proceeded to do as I had requested, but I finished the pan by
zooming in to both of your books at the front of the store.
Both employees balked - especially one of them.
He said it was 'an invasion of his privacy' to be recorded selling your books !
Immediately, I offered to erase everything in front of them, which
I promptly did do in front of them as they did watch..
"Have you had problems with those books ?", I asked the normally friendly employee.
"Yes.
Frequently, & routinely,
'they' come in here, &
'they' attack me (us)
for selling this book."
"I have to tell them, he should have the right to express his beliefs, & we ought to have the right to sell his books."
"Is it an [otherwise] popular book ?"
"Yes, it is.", he said -
as they had already told me in the past.
Eventually, before leaving, I asked them
if I could record the pan again - if they ducked for cover while I recorded. They agreed.
It was not until after I got back home that I was able to watch it for the first time: I broke out laughing HYSTERICALLY.
I think it is truly a remarkable, & hysterical short (5") video clip -
especially when you know both employees are ducking for cover, &
you know the reason(s) they seem to think they need to do it for.
IRONY- THE CLERK IS JEWISH
Earlier, the female employee told me that
her family has a long history 'in the occult',
some of her family survived the Holocaust, &
she believes Aleister Crowley was a wonderful man.
"Are you not aware
he killed babies, &
he promoted 'human-sacrifice' in some of his books ?"
She told me that,
yes, she was already aware of some of these facts, but that
those mitigating facts should not be held against him, because
her school taught her that
he, & John Dee, were very great men -
having greatly expanded the boundaries of occult academe.
Years earlier,
she had questioned me about
the propriety of your first book that
criticizes Feminism.
So there you go, Henry:lf you peddle books that promote
the occult, killing babies, & human-sacrifice,
that is very respectable, commendable, & even awesome,
but, on the other hand,
lf you dare to peddle books
like the ones Henry Makow writes,
then you had better
be extra careful, & hide.
Oh, & for goodness sake,
DON'T FORGET TO DUCK FOR COVER !!
Henry Makow is the author of A Long Way to go for a Date. He received his Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Toronto. He welcomes your feedback and ideas at
