Ronald: Since 2003 I have been an enthusiastic reader of your columns on www.rense.com and on your website. I am a half German, half Thai male who is currently living in Thailand. I have had the great opportunity to live in an environment with traditional values. My father, a retired surgeon was 32 years older than my mother and he had to wait until 55 years of age to get to know my mother in Thailand. It turned out that my mother was the best woman to him who took care of him until he passed away 3 years ago.
It was my luck to grow up in a warm family, where my father had the leadership and there were hardly any quarrels. Despite the fact that my father bought land and houses through my mother, she always was faithful. I am certain that a large portion of women would have taken advantage of this situation, but my mother did not.
The reason I am writing this email is to convey that I am beginning to understand the damages done by feminism which is becoming more dangerous in countries like Thailand as well. Having lived 12 years in Germany I have witnessed female hate against men. Women like to make fun of men being "ATM machines on 2 legs". Apart from that German girls do not want to commit or have families. Only casual sex.
After having returned to Thailand in 2004, I was seeking after the traditional and innocent Thai flower however to my astonishment they are hard to find nowadays. Statistically seen, out of ten girls only one would suit to be a lovely and trustworthy wife. The other nine are selfish. Here too times have changed when you compare the Thai women in 1973 with those today. It is almost like a different species. Thai women have fallen so low, imagine that 40% of student girls are willing the sell their bodies just to have the latest mobile phones or go to trendy pubs. A large portion of the women want rich and foreign guys, as the Thai males does not make enough salary. Where should this lead too?
However I am aware what has caused this change in Thai society. A big factor is definitely the elitist controlled media, which is successfully transforming the Thais into consumer robots and especially spreading the banner of feminism and greed. Thaksin Shinwatra a CFR man had been ruling this country for 6 years. Now his stooges are back in power. This is very sad for a once moral and beautiful country.
There is still some hope though as a small percentage has not succumbed to brain washing. Times are over where most of the South East Asian girls were beautiful flowers. However even in the US and Europe there are still these traditional thinking girls and those whose eyes have opened and are distancing themselves from feminist and media dogma. Yes these good girls are still out there, so why should we settle with less!

Duane: I am so glad to be back in Thailand, sorry to say, but true. I got married 18 months ago and am very happy with just the kind of wife you mentioned. Love between a man and a good woman can be so fulfilling. My wife always wears a dress and that never excited me before like it does now. The point I am trying to make is, nature comes back once the brainwashing wears off.
We live in a big house in Chiang Rai, northern most Thailand, cooler than the scorching hot, other parts of the country. we are starting a garden to grow our own foods and are thinking of buying a couple of goats for fresh Raw milk. Life is good here and very free, Ron Paul would love the laws and the way they are enforced here. The Thai government is honest as far as I have experienced and holds people accountable for their actions but there is not a preemptive blanket enforcement of laws such as speeding and seat belts. Although these laws are on the books they are not widely enforced. There are no pushers here, no crack cocaine and no drive by shootings.
I highly recommend this lifestyle to all retired single Americans, especially those combat Veterans like myself. Come here and find a nice Thai girl (don't look in the bars) settle down and be happy. Thailand and its people are the best therapy I know, and soon you will forget all that bothers you. Take the advise of a very wise man ( not myself) and come here and get a good old fashioned woman. There are going to be a lot of messed up minds coming home from Iraq and that's the way it is. Men are going to come home with confusion in there very souls and the first thing that comes to mind is a bullet in the head. No matter how bad you feel, I guarantee you it doesn't have to be that way. Life and love and even gentleness with come back with time, and the man never goes away. I never thought gentleness would ever return but it did and life is good.
I feel sad about the direction my country has been steered. I have been living in Thailand for eight years now, except for the five months I went back to vote against George Bush and hoped the country would return to its prior greatness. That didn't happen and so here I returned. I don't see anything to be encouraged about by the three candidates on the block now. Everything in the media sound bites about Rev, Wright were designed to shape the debate. What he said I think are true statements and I don't have to be black to know where AIDS comes from or what our foreign policy has brought us. Yet Obama distanced himself from his long time friend for what? This is a good example of how the media shapes debate and forms opinions. Media is losing its grip on the public but I am afraid it will be too late before my fellow Americans just turn off the TV and vote for no incumbents. Read articles on newspaper subscriptions and viewership of news networks, they are losing their credibility and folks are turning to the internet. This is the only hope I see.
In closing I would like to thank you Dr Makow, for sharing your views and helping me understand why I was so angry. I have lost that anger now and read every day, every article I can with an open mind. Some of the stuff on the internet is really out of touch with reality, and some is just mis and disinformation but reading on, that stuff is easy to spot after a while. Please feel free to share this with your readers if you can tolerate my lack of writing skills. I leave you with an open invitation to you and your wife to visit us here anytime, I am sure we could find something to talk about, good golf here and real fresh air. Be well don't let the things you can't control occupy your peace of mind.
