Man Suspects Persecution for Dissing Masons When I first arrived in Taiwan about 11 years ago, I met a man (Hank) from Alabama and we became good friends. I was teaching English, he was working for Lockheed Martin training the Taiwan airforce to maintain the F-16s they had bought from the Americans. He had served in the 1991 Gulf War, got out of the military after the war, and got a job at Lockheed Martin. Five years later he went back to the US but we stayed in touch.
Last October, he invited me to his wedding in the Philippines. I went down there and had a great time for five days. He has a very good wife who comes from a good family in the countryside. He's 43 and she's 30, and a kindergarten teacher. At the time he had taken six months unpaid leave from his job to spend with her.
While there he told me that the Masons have a lot of influence in the society. For example, if you get pulled over by the police, you don't show them your driver's license, you show them your mason membership card and they'll leave you alone! He introduced me to a 60 year old American mason at his wedding who was trying to get Hank to join, but Hank didn't want to join 'the Mickey Mouse Club.'
Anyway, that's not the point of my article.
Hank then told me about the trouble he's having trying to get his wife back to the US. Before going to the Philippines, he applied for her fiancee visa, only to be told HE needed to have a criminal record check (it's a new law passed and he blames it on Nancy Pelosi). 'No problem,' he thought. 'I got no criminal record.'
However, it turns out that he had three 'offenses.' When he was 18, way back in the mid-80s, he got picked up for drunk driving. When he was 19, the police pulled him over and found one roach (left over marijuana cigarette) in his car. And a few months after that, he had another DUI. Then he straightened up, joined the air force, served in a war, and got a good job at Lockheed Martin making good money.
He was told that they have to 'protect' this woman he wants to bring to Amerika! So he had to hire a lawyer to get that sorted out. Then they found out he was in Taiwan for five years so he had to go back there to get a criminal record check.
So he came here in December, spent two weeks and thousands of dollars doing that only to find out that he had the wrong piece of paper. So he had to come back again in March.
As of now, his wife is in the Philippines and has just had their baby and he's run out of money. To top it all off, he ended up losing his job because they found out he lied about his 'criminal record' from all those years ago. Apparently, back then they couldn't find out about minor offenses like that, but now they know everything. He suspects that it might have been done by the masons since he called them the 'Mickey Mouse Club' to their faces.
So he's in Alabama living with his parents and selling cars to raise the money to go back with his wife and baby. His wife is in the Philippines living as a single mother. Thank God we have the good ole feminazi US Government to protect her from that criminal!
