POPULAR MUSIC: A KEY ILLUMINATI TOOL

Music is a powerful influence, both for good and evil. In The Republic, Plato recognized its potential as a disintegrating force and advocated its control.

In the modern era, Antonio Gramsci recognized that Communism (an Illuminati movement) could succeed only if the traditional culture, including music, was first subverted.

For the past two generations, popular music has become openly hostile to traditional values. While some forms, such as country, have resisted this trend, most popular music is a purveyor of drugs, rebellion, perverted sex, the primitive and the occult, and Satanism.

Traditional values always rest upon a religious foundation, so the most powerful attack in a culture war is an attack upon the underlying faith.  Satanism, which inverts the Judeo-Christian tradition -- calling evil good and good evil -- is the sharpest possible attack.

Something Wicked This Way Comes

Satanism in music first became visible when the face of Aleister Crowley appeared on the cover of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper album. Before long this was followed by the Rolling Stones' song, Sympathy for the Devil. Throughout the 70s this trend gained traction.

It wasn't until the 80s, though, that I was shocked to see blatant Satanism making its appearance in American living rooms. I turned on the TV one afternoon (about the time that Dick Clark used to host American Bandstand) and saw Joan Jett and the Blackhearts performing. They were jabbing their hands at the camera, giving the sign of the horns, while "singing"  (in actuality, screaming) curses.

Since then, displays of Satanism -- from Madonna to Eminem to Jay-Z --have proliferated. Are such displays for real? Are the performers really Satanists? Or is this just an act to titillate an audience and gain notoriety?

It doesn't matter. Either way Satanic influence infects the culture. What better way to get most performers, and audiences, to adopt Satanism than to let them think it isn't to be taken seriously, that it's an act, that it's cool.

No doubt some performers are Satanists. But more important, many of those who control the music industry snd determine which performers are promoted, are Satanists. Today, Satanism is deeply entrenched in the music industry.

A current example is Lil Wayne, a well-known performer of minimal gifts, who is featured on a music video called "On Fire." In it, he is seduced by a woman who is "hot." She is really (supposedly) a devil from hell.

One has only to compare this video to the movie "Body Heat" (1981), which has a similar theme, to see how crude and stupid the video is. But that seems to be part of the idea. It seems to be deliberately primitive and stupefying.

The song, indeed the whole production, is sub-literate. Its thousand jump cuts make you feel (as TV in general does) as if something significant is happening, or about to happen, but in the end it leaves you feeling empty and wasted. In the meantime, you have left your spirit open and unguarded, so that subliminal images and messages implant themselves in your soul.

Preparing the Way of Satan

How did all this come about? What enabled Gramsci's cultural revolution (i.e., cultural destruction) to succeed? The answer is: the creation of a "youth culture." Only when a generation gap had been created was there an opening to subvert that culture and to corrupt its members.

And that process -- so far as my own experience is concerned -- began long ago, with music that seemed not only innocuous but wholesome.

I was a small child when Rogers and Hammerstein's musical "South Pacific" became fantastically popular. Romantic songs such as "Some Enchanted Evening" and comic songs such as "There Is Nothing Like a Dame" captivated the public. Two or three of the songs, including "Bali Ha'i," were on the Top Ten.

But young as I was, one of the songs particularly stuck in my mind. It had a haunting, rather melancholy sound, and the words made a strong impression on me.

You've got to be taught, before it's too late,
Before you are six, or seven, or eight,
To hate all the people your relatives hate,
You've got to be carefully taught
.

Isn't this just a nice song decrying prejudice? Who could object? But beneath its surface, South Pacific suggests that war (and personal unhappiness) is somehow the result of racial hatred and also of sexual repression. (Bali Ha'i is a kind of fantasy paradise of sexual license.)

And the song "Carefully Taught" teaches that this social pathology, which leads to war and personal misery, is the product of... yes, the family. To break this cycle of "hate," we need to separate the children (the younger the better) from their families, to break the bond that connects them.

Get mothers out of the home and into jobs. Get the children into kindergarten, into pre-school, into day care. And get the schools, rather than the family, to teach the children values.
.
Teach them that all cultures, however primitive, are equal. Teach them that all sexual "life styles," including the perverted, are equal. Teach them that it's wrong to hate anyone (except one's own family). Then we can sing "Carefully Taught" the way Rogers and Hammerstein really meant it.

You've got to be taught, before it's too late,
Before you are six, or seven, or eight,
To love all the people you'd naturally hate.
You've got to be carefully taught.

Conclusion

The Illuminati are Luciferians and Satanists. They seek to "ascend into heaven... above the stars of God," to "be like the Most High." They want to make man (i.e., themselves) God.

To accomplish this, they have to destroy the bedrock faith of our culture. And to do this, they need to fragment the family, so as to have a free hand  with the nascent generation. Once the Illuminati succeed in severing the ties between the generations, their power becomes complete.

Once they destroy the past, they will control the future.

That's their goal. They feel they are close now to final victory. But, thank God, they will not, cannot succeed.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.
        And he will turn
The hearts of the fathers to the children,
And the hearts of the children to their fathers,
Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.

Hey I am experiencing all off the stuff mentioned in your article and a lot more out here in Nashville. The entire music industry is corrupt, they spend more money destroying artist than producing them. But it gets worse the music is all unbalanced and causes major psychological damage. Also all commercially available recording equipment does not work including Pro Tools. They filled my house with carbon dioxide. I can prove everything but to courts are corrupted. So what do we do? We need to revise the Anti Masonic League. God help us. The good news is i can see in the that the Masonic lie is crumbling from truth all over the world. God bless

I have read several of your articles that make the claim that music is controlled by the Illuminati. I sort of had a 50-50 feeling on the subject, but put it on the shelf in my brain until I could get some sort of secondary confirmation outside the alternative Internet media. I am reading Plato's "Republic" and one of the first goals of Plato's Republic is to indoctrinate the youth with music so that they can grow up and be fashioned into whatever the State wants from them... So I have my secondary confirmation... If one were to read Plato's Republic, they would see so many things happening today in the USA that were a requirement for the STATE to be "Just"...

I found this to be a very interesting read, it is one of those articles that you just can't stop reading. There are many connections between rock music and the government that it totally amazes you.
Did you know that Admiral George Stephen Morrison who commanded the U.S. warships which allegedly came under attack while patrolling Vietnam’s Tonkin Gulf was Jim Morrison's father?
or
David Crosby, founding member of the band the Byrds, as well as, of course, Crosby, Stills & Nash. Crosby is, not surprisingly, the son of an Annapolis graduate and WWII military intelligence officer, Major Floyd Delafield Crosby
I think you will enjoy this article and how it relates to yours.

Jim said (January 20, 2010):

According to Brice Taylor in Thanks for the Memories, music is often used as an element in mind control and musicians are at times told to use specific lyrics in their songs to coordinate with programming some mind control slaves are receiving. Musicians who cooperate with the insiders, agenda are supported. Those who do not find themselves going nowhere.

Recall that Ozzie Osborn's band, Black Sabbath, promoted Satanic themes even in the Woodstock Generation. Another very popular band, KISS, supposedly gets its name from "Knights In Service to Satan". They look the part.

Now we see music of the Black community, which used to have "the motown sound" and other very musical creations is deteriorating into "rap" songs featuring obscenity and selfishness. Rap often seems to promote the get-rich-quick lifestyle of drug dealing and is, no doubt, a factor in the very high percentage of black males in the US today who are in jail or on parole. This is destruction of the family. The music itself is very un-musical. I do not for one second believe that this is a true manifestation of black consciousness or culture; it is in fact a destructive element being unleashed.

I recall in the late 90's retro-swing music suddenly appeared out of nowhere with bands like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and many others. It almost certainly wasn't popular demand that made such bands pop up out of nowhere playing trumpets and such. Many of the bands had very similar styles also. Clearly some big money had to be behind the creation of the short-lived retro-swing craze; it was NOT a natural outgrowth of popular demand.

The point here is that money and promotion is used to create demand, NOT the other way around. The media spins stories to create popular opinion. The fashion industry promotes its ideas of what will be "in" this season. Likewise the music industry exerts lots of control over the music we hear. We have free choice, but the options are quite limited. As I have gotten older I have been at times shocked to realize what some of my favorite "rock" songs were really saying. Every generation is being pushed a bit farther along the road to manipulation.

This is in response to your article on music and the Illuminati. Your constant assertion that the Illuminati are Luciferian is a blatant lie. It would be the same as saying all Jews are bankers or all Scottish wear kilts only, ridiculous and without reason. Also ridiculous is asserting that the Illuminati only care about world domination. I myself am Illuminati. I don't worship the TITLE that is Lucifer and there is no such "being", nor any "satan." I do know the secrets of the The Order of Melchizedek and that's supposed to make me evil??? Your writing and your choice of words indicate that you are meme-infected, delusional, and paranoid. A meme is something that does not exist - a word or meaning twisted through mistranslation, but yet, causes people to run around like Chicken Little, as in the word "snipe." Your constant attack on the Illuminati is the same as an ignorant preacher on a stump asking the people for help in lowering the local snipe population. Good luck with that. Maybe Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny can lend you a hand. The primary goal of the illuminati is not world domination but to stop the Chicken Little's of the world and illuminate them with truth because it is the plague of meme-infected that cause the bulk of destruction on the planet. 200 years ago your kind were drowning women to prove they were witches. Today you create false flag operations to launch phony wars because you believe your false god is better than your enemy's false god. "God talks to me," you say. "Witches, Satan, and Snipe, oh my! Lions, Tigers, and Bear, oh my!"

Andy's juvenile defense of 'Slayer' is the same rap that's been used for 30 years. It's always just an excuse for a lot of sick thoughts he'd like thinking about anyway.

Here's one of Slayer's deth metal anthems to raise public awareness that priests do things like strip off their frocks to reveal SM costumes and flog MTV models playing teenage girls in Catholic school skirts and goth makeup in a room splattered with gallons of blood (being licked off the floor by cats) while chanting, "I KILL YOU!"

"Bloodline", from the album, "God Hates Us All"

Andy said (January 20, 2010):

I think readers like Ralph are missing the point. Musicians like Tom Araya (Slayer) are hard working and dedicated artists. Slayer has a dark sound by design, it's meant to point out hypocrisies in our culture, which it does quite well. Let's be brutally honest here, Slayer and/or most other metal artists have a dark message, one that most folks can't stand hearing. That message is simply pointing out the exponentially darker influence of that which most Christians happily tolerate; Catholic priests raping boys, false prophets like Pat Robertson's fleecing of the elderly and mentally infirm, the overwhelming evil of Israel and Zionism, the lies and crimes of politicians, the usury system that rapes and debilitates the entire planet. Only a simpleton looks to art (a mere reflection of reality) for the true face of evil.

Malcolm said (January 20, 2010):

I thought this was an excellent essay as are some of the enlightened comments. I would like to add a little to the interpretation of American Pie.

I believe the song is predictive. It is about the ultimate demise of the American way of life and the place of the USA in the first world. The song mentions the end of gasoline (the levy was dry). Nuclear war (fallout shelter) weather extremes (summer swelter) the excited anticipation of the forces of darkness (Satan laughing with delight) and with the departure of the Holy Spirit with those in whom He dwells – the end of the church age. (Father, Son and Holy Ghost catch the last train for the coast)

Don was interviewed not so long ago and stated that, once again he could not reveal the meaning of the song apart from the fact that due to his royalty payments he would never have to work another day of his life! The reporter nevertheless attempted to coax more from Don about the song and its place in the world of music and at some stage Don leaked this little nugget in front of the camera.

“THE SONG IS ABOUT WHEN THE SPIRIT LEAVES”

Phil said (January 20, 2010):

Hi Henry, I'm replying to several of your readers' responses to the "Popular Music" post.

I feel that those who criticized heavy metal show a typical ignorance, naivete, and simpleton's attitude toward one of the most creative and influential genres of music of the past 40 years. FYI, I'm the person who wrote and sent you the lyrics to "Pavlov's Jews" a couple years back--a song that typifies the quest of many bands to challenge the status quo and address serious issues rather than just singing about a girlfriend you broke up with.

Slayer is the standard whipping boy for people unfamiliar with the metal scene. That band has really just become a brand at this point, having chosen to bank on their "evil" imagery rather than push forward creatively. In contrast, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine converted to Christianity several years back and their new album is entitled "Endgame," which is taken directly from the Alex Jones film. You won't find Beyonce singing about the New World Order!

This music's core is about independence and being true to oneself--such as writing and performing all your own material, which is in high contrast to the prepackaged pop star marionettes who sell millions of records to the status quo-lovin' masses. In contrast, from Canada to the Czech Repulbic and beyond, metalheads around the world comprise a brotherhood out of love for this style of music which oftentimes we have to seek out.

Second, while metal can serve as an accessory to one's self-destruction or just for shock value, I think most of the time behind the adolescent frustration lies a common bond of people who are just a bit more intense and deep-feeling than the general public. As teens they rebel against the hokiness of Biblical stories, but later on many end up earning advanced science and technology degrees.

So if anyone is curious to explore just how much more there is to heavy metal than what the preacher says, there is a wealth of information available online. Here are a few google search terms to get them started: folk metal, melodic death metal, New Wave of British Heavy Metal, doom metal. The book "Sound of the Beast" by Ian Christe gives a complete and insightful history of the genre as well.

Steve said (January 19, 2010):

returned yesterday from the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) trade show in Anaheim, CA.

Among the percussion instruments, brass, and exquisitely hand crafted traditional guitars, were the "metal" guitar and accessory booths.

Exceedingly dark and malevolent equipment AND personnel, I was disgusted.

"Guitar pedals" are small boxes that usually sit on the floor and use foot switches to change the quality of the sound.

A very vivid image was a group of young (very) Goth metal heads admiring a pedal shaped like a skull, the industrial design of which was ghoulish in the extreme, with bloody red control knobs exiting the eye sockets.

As I was very busy with commercial contacts, I did not have time to take pictures....I should have.

As always, thanks Henry!

Steve

PS... there was a booth displaying gorgeous handmade harps, with a lady playing "angelic" music.Perhaps there is hope....

Dave said (January 19, 2010):

Speaking of Satanism in the pop culture.. The writer of the piece you put up failed to mention McLean's ode to Satan "american pie", a song incidentally, which I thoroughly detest. Here are some of it's more notable lyrics:

"Oh, and while the king was looking down,
The jester stole his thorny crown.
The courtroom was adjourned;
No verdict was returned.
And while lennon read a book of marx,
The quartet practiced in the park,
And we sang dirges in the dark
The day the music died."

And in the streets: the children screamed,
The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed.
But not a word was spoken;
The church bells all were broken.
And the three men I admire most:
The father, son, and the holy ghost,
They caught the last train for the coast
The day the music died.

A Pastor I listened to used this song to detail a sermon, he believed the music that died was sacred music, much to Satan's delight. The lyrics also mention Lennon reading the book of marx, that too was a major theme of the Beatle's music which very few people noticed. Of course we know that communism is an intrinsic part of Satanic worship, so the pieces fit together. Thanks for posting this.

Ralph said (January 19, 2010):

Look at some Slayer lyrics of their "Christ Illusion" album (2006) for example

"The pestilence of Jesus Christ
There never was a sacrifice
No man upon the crucifix
Beware the cult of purity
Infectious imbecility
I've made my choice
666!"

"I've seen the ways of God
I'll take the devil any day
Hail Satan"

Nice ah? Anyway, in an interview with Tom Araya, frontman of Slayer, he said this:

Westword: What's the biggest misconception people have about SLAYER?
Tom Araya: "The obvious one: the Satan stuff. I'm not here to fault anybody. And I hate to say this, but Christ came and taught us about love. About doing unto others. That was his preach: Accept each other for who we are. Live peacefully, and love one another. Period."
Westword: Do you believe in God?
Tom Araya: "I believe in a supreme being, yeah. But He's an all-loving God."

In this case I strongly believe these people are practicing Satanists. Here the term Christ could mean anything. These are deceitful answers. I share the idea that not all the Disney / Sony BMG / Universal / whatever artists are Satanists, but some just have to be, at least the top of the music industry is. John Todd also had some interesting things to say about that.. Especially when he was talking about the "mixing room".

I think there is a good point made; "leaving your spirit open and unguarded" after listening to that kind of music. I noticed it in my own life, and I was a big big Slayer fan. For example, my grandfather was taken away back in 1954 by entities that even told my grandmother in advance. He died the next day after being hit by a drunk driver. Back then, they where deeply involved in "talking to the dead" and calling out spirits. Only a few months back my father told me that days before she died, a couple of years ago, inside my parents house, several entities tried to get in, bouncing on doors etc, but they where unable to do so. This is why I strongly believe that if you open yourself to these kind of influences (also music), that spirit of the Lord that offers you protection will disappear, and you are a potential victim of these deceitful entities. I also think this is what Jesus meant when he thought us how to pray. Give us... ask and you shall get... I see it as a spiritual security system.

Gerrit said (January 19, 2010):

Satanism in pop music... Pfff.... Satan does not exist, and neither does god. Good and evil do exist as a form of behavior -, but who decides what is good and what is evil? It depends on circumstances and common sense. God and satan are metaphores, not reality. Christians and Satanists are mere sheeple, following smart people who use other people to reach a goal (power and/or wealth ) by tricking them into believing something. Don't believe, THINK! But to put things in perspective...in the long run, we all die!

Think about this and have a nice day...

John said (January 19, 2010):

Ephesians 2:2......Wherein time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the Prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worked in the children of disobedience......It's the same old game, just new methods of deceiving the lost. Who is the Prince of the power of the air "Airways" today? It can be none other than Satan... I know from personal experience that the music today is ungodly and full of filth. I grew up in the rock and roll era and now I hate it all. The Spirit of God changes your heart and desires, the old man is losing out and the new man grows with strenght from on high (JN1:12)....Don't listen to it or look at it. ..

Shai said (January 19, 2010):

Do you recall the TV shows like Donahue, Springer and others that featured neo-nazis and white supremecists ------prejudiced parents with their kids spouting racial epithets and decrying the jews the papists and the coloreds?
God fearing and righteous in their hatred and arrogant in their faith that God made white people the master race?

Well this song was aimed at folks like them. This song was aimed at their kids and their neighbours. And yes..it is a very clever, very sing-able song.

Written at a time when racial discrimination was at its peak in the USA...with segregated water fountains, Toilets, public transport....with burnings and hangings in the Deep South all sanctified by God's faithful cross-burners.

And my question to you is..are you denying the truth inherent in the lyrics of carefully taught..that prejudice and racial hatred are taught to us by family members and community leaders, teachers and preachers and politicians?
Or is it your belief that humans are born naturally hating and distrusting of other humans of different ethnicity....just as God wishes us to be?

I mean seriously Henry..what is RS really saying here....that Rogers and Hammerstein were wrong...or that they must be Satanists to embed such a message in a very sing-able popular song?
Are you saying we should honor our fathers and mothers by accepting without argument their prejudices, their religious and political ideals?

And what if my family believe people like RS should be banished or killed for all the hate and malice you pour onto the page regarding their faith or creed or ethnicity...should I agree with them and all that they carefully taught me about ignorance and intolerance and people like you?

There is nothing either in the lyrics or the message of "Carefully Taught"..indeed in the whole South Pacific story that says one should separate the children from the family and break the bond that connects them. All it says is that at some point you should be mature and independent enough to use and to make up your own mind about whether racial stereotypes are true..whether prejudice and discrimination and all the " facts" and Bible verses used to support them are indeed true and
ordained by " God" ..or if it is simply tradition to hate the papists the jews, the coloreds the slant-eyed, and the arabs....

Jerry said (January 19, 2010):

Thank you for this essay!! It reminds me of something I heard in a church service a number of years ago from one Dr. Ravi Zacharias and I quote...

"Never before has the imagination been under such attack. Never before in all history, all the pictures, all the images, all the tantalizing capacities that technology provides to draw the imagination away and enslave the hearts passions. Our young people are most vulnerable because never before has such a picture capacity been real and the picture has an extraordinary capacity greater than the capacity of the word in some ways! Was it not William Black a long time ago who talked about the eyes:

"This life's dim windows of the soul distorts the heavens from pole to pole and goads you to believe a lie when you see with and not through the eye."

We are created to see with the eye through the conscience. Modern capacity is inviting us to see with the eye devoid of the conscience AND THE ULTIMATE ASSAULT ON MUSIC AND ITS SPLENDOR IS NOW!!! YOUNG PEOPLE ARE BEING ASKED NOT ONLY TO LISTEN TO MUSIC BUT THE PICTURES ARE FOISTED UPON THEM IMPOSING A SOVEREIGNTY UPON THEIR IMAGINATION EVEN WITH MELODIES, BUT ONE OF THE GREATNESS OF MUSIC IS THAT IT GIVES YOU YOUR IMAGINATION TO MAKE THE EXTENSIONS. NOW THEY WANT TO IMPOSE THAT PICTURE AND TAKE AWAY YOUR IMAGINATION EVEN WITH THE GIFT OF MUSIC.
Ah think of what Satan did for Jesus when he said; 'if you will bow down and worship me' NO GOD ONLY WILL YOU WORSHIP.'

Take care and be on your guard folks
