I can see how people can feel helpless about our situation, especially when the voting process is all
but a forgone conclusion. Everyone must write on their ballot, someone that they want for President, someone like Alan Keyes, or Paul Craig Roberts, Sheriff Joe, or Andrew Napolitano. There are a number of people who would be morally acceptable if they could get onto the ballet, but they aren't allowed. Anyone willing to follow the Constitution as written by the Founding Fathers would be able to right the ship that is America.

There would be a lot of negating of rules, regulations and laws that are not legal under the Constitution, and a bunch of firings. No one who has gotten us into the mess should be left in the government. That would mean a whole lot of new people to be elected and replaced. That would be the hard part. Are there enough MORAL people left to cover it who would not be afraid to do what is necessary?

Yes, of course participating in public debate is a waste of time! Saving your breath to blow on your hot porridge is more beneficial... or better yet...use your energy to store away a few necessary items for a future day of onrushing calamity.

Information control is ubiquitous in all public institutions. Also, the Delphi technique is universally utilized to decieve that voting and public comments really matter. Furthermore, personal energy and time are deliberately being wasted thus keeping all off-guard for the purpose of being broadsided by (i) an imminent geo-physical event and (ii) draconian legislation designed to further enslave in the now-emerging Totalitarian state.

Foods that alter physiology activate surges of serotonin and estrogen and produce learned helplessness, so that people may remonstrate today, but when confronted with phoney charges of treason or sedition they will assume the fetal postion and cowtail to authority.

A total collapse of the current system is overdue. Participating in public discussions and elections brought us exactly where? Right. A political three ring circus is cleverly disguised as "elections" where the only objective is to advance the ruling cabal's agenda. We have much more of a chance to correct what is wrong, individually and collectively, by shunning anything with the words commodity and elections attached, and to create an education system where worthwhile subjects are taught and independent thinkers are made - the foundation for a civil society where helplessness is rare.

That article really resonated with me. i try to do my part to solving the problem everyday. my personal motto is 'hurt no-one, harm nothing'. i eat vegan. buy fair trade. ring up talk back radio and talk about the nwo. write letters to newspapers regarding weather modification, not the fraud of global warming. have a blog about the chemtrails i get above my neighborhood weatherwarfarewellington.blogspot.com..give monthly donations to cat protection and the local homeless man's night shelter. i tithe 10% of my monthly income and give to my family whatever they need. long time donor to fred hollows foundation. donor to leprosy mission. buy nz made wherever possible. i consume consciously or not at all. i don't support mass media at all. i truly care about people, animals, insects, EVERYTHING. i give a f**k and i walk my talk. and you know what? it's so so easy. take care everyone. become the change you want to see.

I believe these types of activities are helpful, and true
beliefs/concerns need actions. Too many still seem apathetic, distracted unaware of the real state of affairs. America is collapsing, it is virtually an unrecognized police state. I think prayer, repentance, and a sincere call on the true God for help is the main thing to bring success to all the good efforts like these, together for dramatic and real change. Obama is still in office.

Why is it so hard to get us to do is unite together. If we could, then we would far out number them. We are strong as a people together yet weak individually. It saddens me to see the state of our country, our religion, our morality and how decrepit we have become.

We must awake and take back what God entrusted to us to care for!! I saw a commercial for a new show called GCB 'good Christian bitches'--can you believe that? why are more people not raising sand over this outrage? I emailed the broadcast company involved, but don't expect a response.

That is an attack on our conscious, our family, our religion and society in general by saying it is ok to say such degrading things about a religion and women. I for one will stand up for my wife, family,God and country, the question that now should be raised for everyone else, will you?

The solution imho is that politics should no longer be a career path with golden handshakes and retirement plans and all the temptations for corruption.

As the writer of this article says, we all have special talents, and these should be used and not wasted. Positions of "government" should be rotated, but elections should be abolished, some other means of appointment should be found if only names out of a hat.

A true citizen must take up responsible positions to serve his/her community but should not profit from that position and should not stay in that position for too long. It should not depend on property or wealth either.

Look where that has brought us - as John Taylor Gatto observed it is astonishing that out of a population of approximately 300 million people the past presidents of the USA have come from only a handful of very elite private schools.

Education has a big part to play as it is through the destruction of education that people are now largely ignorant and apathetic. It only takes one generation to reverse the decline.

Voting etc. is a show to keep people busy (and bleed off their funds and resources) and especially not a way for a honest person to win anything.

The stage is not made to be a platform for repairing the damage.

What we actually have these days is still a feudal system, those who have the most resources and connections have the most control, everything else just keeps the serfs from revolting outright, by giving them a false sense of governance, and also providing the evils with a source of entertainment.

So what I'd suggest is people to make their own connections, and build their resources locally, see about buying land up etc. and setting up spiritual barriers on that land to keep evils out.

At our local level (I hope it's better elsewhere) most people are either part of the problem (civic leaders = part of the control system) or they are completely oblivious to the problems and they mock and call you a conspiracy nut if you tell them things are different than what the T.V. tells them.

The television has completely captured most people. For them, reality is defined by the flashing images and "personalities" in the screen -- an illusion, a spell.

It's good that a few people are still aware, trying and not sold-out -- but, you are a small minority.

In summary, I find the whole system to be so corrupt that trying to change it is like shaking your fist at the darkness in the hope that it will change. (like I said, I hope it's not so hopeless in other parts of the N. America).
