How Gullible Christians Became Zionists

March 14, 2013

Cyrus Scofield (1843-1921) was an Illuminati agent whose 1909 annotated Bible

duped countless evangelicals into unconditional support of Zionism.

Scofield is an example of how the Illuminati can amend or interpret the Bible

to advance their agenda of world tyranny.

Nature abhors a vacuum. That's why the Illuminati own and control the world.

The vacuum is between the ears of goyim who believe Illuminati shibboleths instead

of using their own common sense.

By Rev. Ted Pike

(edited & abridged by henrymakow.com)

A flawed foundation lies under most evangelicals' understanding of God's moral dealings with humanity and particularly Jews. This foundation drives their support of the Jewish state. It is called "Scofield Dispensationalism."

Written at the dawn of the modern Zionist movement, Scofield's commentaries suggested that a nation of suffering and persecuted Jews, though Christ-rejecting, had a divine right to return and occupy Palestine. This idea was virtually absent from Christianity before the mid-1800s. How did such permission gain so great a foothold that it's now unquestioned dogma for most evangelicals? ...

CYRUS SCOFIELD

Cyrus Scofield taught that ... God gave the patriarch and his descendants unconditional rights as God's chosen people. They were guaranteed the Promised Land and rights of occupation, even without obedience. Scofield said Israelites automatically receive "all blessings" by just being there....

Scofield, as no other figure, legitimized Christian participation in Zionism. Evangelicals then united pre-tribulationism and its "rapture escapism" with Zionism. The new prophetic script for Christians read like this:

The right of God's dispersed and persecuted chosen people to the Promised Land is covenanted to them by God unconditionally, forever. It is the duty of every Christian to honor God's great last day's regathering of His people, bidding them godspeed by any possible means. If any nation or person refuses to stand by God and the Jewish nation, he is in league with Satan.

Israel makes possible fulfillment of biblical prophecy that empowers Jesus to return as predicted. Without Israel's existence and the hundreds of prophecies it fulfills, Christ cannot return. Christ stated clearly that "it must needs be that Scripture be fulfilled" before He could go forward with God's plan.

Criticizing the state of Israel is thus to oppose the Almighty. It is to curse the Jewish people, incurring dire judgment. "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you..." (Genesis 12:3)

SECOND COMING HINGES ON ISRAEL

In accordance with an end-times storyline created by Scofield and others, Zionist evangelicals now keenly watch Israel for necessary fulfillment of the following Scriptural predictions:

1. Rebuilding a Jewish temple. The new temple is necessary because Scripture says anti-Christ must profane it, and proclaim himself to be god. Without such a temple and its defilement, Christ cannot return as He predicted.

2. Israel enters a "covenant" or peace treaty with Anti-Christ.

Once such a covenant has taken place, Daniel's prophetic "clock" of a "week" or seven years leading to Christ's second second coming will begin to tick.

The problem, however, for pretribulationists is this: If the church is to be raptured when the anti-Christ is "revealed," what does Scripture mean by that term? Does it mean "revealed" as in anti-Christ signing a peace treaty with Israel or "revealed" such as occurs in the middle of Daniel's week when anti-Christ manifests himself as the enemy of the Jews, bringing his armies against Jerusalem (Ez. 38).

At that time, he desecrates the temple, kills two thirds of Jerusalem's inhabitants, and exiles the remainder to the nations. Also, since most evangelicals believe Christ could come in his first second coming and rapture us out without preconditons, perhaps we will not even have to wait for the "revealing" of Anti-Christ at all.

GULLIBLE GOYIM

The pretribulationist viewpoint could not be simpler: Dark as the world may become, if the church above all things makes sure to bless Israel, it will be blessed and kept safe. Jesus will be faithful to take out true believers before anything resembling great tribulation begins.

In reality, nothing could be more unbiblical, corruptive to the church and the Jewish people, and ultimately dangerous to Christianity than building up that Zionist one-world system of oppression Scripture calls Babylon the Great. (See, 'Babylon the Great' is Israel)

Pre-tribulationism is thus escapism. Calvinists also very largely adhere to this idea. It fits well with their belief that once we are soundly "born again" we are always saved, even if committing the grossest sin.

If we as citizens fail in our duty to occupy and resist evil, this Calvinist/pretribulationist theology says Jesus understands. He will not require us to bear the consequences of our neglect. We will soon be gone. The consequences will be passed on to those of our children who are not born again, not fortunate enough to be raptured.

Of course, Scripture does promise a first resurrection or "rapture" of the dead and living of Christ at His second coming. Yet a high percentage of evangelicals actually believe the rapture will occur within several years. What's the point of knocking ourselves out opposing evil, especially as Jewish big media corrupts our children...because very soon we'll be in heaven? ...

Yet Jesus said that the church would not be taken out of tribulation. Instead, He said, "In the world ye shall have tribulation." (John 16:33)

CS.jpgAnd who was Cyrus Scofield?  A con man and Illuminati Jewish agent

As a young con-artist in Kansas after the Civil War, he met up with John J. Ingalls, an aging Jewish lawyer who had been sent to Atchison by the "Secret Six" some thirty years before to work the Abolitionist cause.  Pulling strings both in Kansas and with his compatriots back east, Ingalls assisted Scofield in gaining admission to the Bar, and procured his appointment as Federal Attorney for Kansas.  Ingalls and Scofield became partners in a railroad scam which led to Cyrus serving time for criminal forgery.

While he was in prison, Scofield began studying the philosophy of John Darby, pioneer of the Plymouth Brethren movement and the "any moment now" rapture doctrine.

Upon his release from prison, Scofield deserted his first wife, Leonteen Carry Scofield, and his two daughters Abigail and Helen, and he took as his mistress a young girl from the St. Louis Flower Mission.  He later abandoned her for Helen van Ward, whom he eventually married.

Following his Illuminati connections to New York, he settled in at the Lotus Club, which he listed as his residence for the next twenty years.  It was here that he presented his ideas for a new Christian Bible concordance, and was taken under the wing of Samuel Untermeyer, who later became chairman of the American Jewish Committee, president of the American League of Jewish Patriots, and chairman of the Non-sectarian Anti-Nazi League.

Untermeyer introduced Scofield to numerous Zionist and socialist leaders, including Samuel Gompers, Fiorello LaGuardia, Abraham Straus, Bernard Baruch and Jacob Schiff. These were the people who financed Scofield's research trips to Oxford and arranged the publication and distribution of his concordance.

It is impossible to overstate the influence of Cyrus Scofield on twentieth-century Christian beliefs. The Scofield Bible is the standard reference work in virtually all Christian ministries and divinity schools.  It is singularly responsible for the Christian mistaken belief that the Hebrew Prophecies describe the kingdom of Jesus' Second Coming, and not in fact the Zionist vision of a man-made New World Order.

And it is precisely because Christians persist in this belief that they remain blind to the reality of Zion.  Scofield served as the agent by which the Zionists paralyzed Christianity, while they prepared America for our final conquest.

Suppose you control massive amounts of wealth and you want it all. Your central banking interest/debt scam works to deliver most of the world’s nations.

But you realize a hundred years ago that you must address the 1.6 billion people in the Islamic states that refuse to accept your control.
You embark on a plan to destabilize the region with proxies in a Hegelian Dialectic.
You use your immense wealth to fund obscure movements within opposing groups such as the Wahhabist in Islam and the Zionists within Judaism.

Realizing the Zionists are no match for the Islamists, you create a false movement within Christianity to bolster them.

You insert the Israeli fly into the Middle East ointment and wait for ‘syntheses’.
I think we are witnessing this result.

For his part, the new antipope says that he took his name from St. Francis of Assisi.

And what did the saint have to say about the future?

Hector said (March 15, 2013):

Pike is wrong on many accounts just for being a protestant, but there is something in which he is correct...Evangelical Christians have been duped into supporting Israel, when the Bible clearly states that after Jesus Christ passion and resurrection, the people of God are those who obey his will, nothing to do with ethnicity and bloodlines, as clearly confirmed with Cornelius conversion (Acts), the replacement of the Sabbath day as well as the removal of the circumcision as a requirement to belong to God's people (the Church). Even Jesus hinted the Antichrist would come as the Messiah expected by the Jewish people (remember our Lord was not accepted due to this peaceful and humble coming, no the bombastic stuff they were expecting) when he stated in John chapter 5 verse 43

"43 I am come in the name of my Father, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive."

Were it not the case, our Lord wouldn't have commanded his disciples to roam the Earth in order to save as many souls as possible. And spare me the Jewish persecution complex. If something is clearly stated in the Scriptures as well as in the prophesies of every Christian seer in the last 2000 years is that at the end of the cycle, the Christians ARE THE ONES PERSECUTED. So I wouldn't worry much about the Jews. Even as I type this article there are millions of persons, nominal adherents to the faith of our Lord, being persecuted in different lands just for their belief. And I am afraid the persecution just got started and soon will be enacted somewhere near you...

I have to disagree with Marcos below. Ted Pike is not an anti-semite. He has refused to join hands, for example, with David Duke and others who teach the moral superiority of the European race. In his Bible studies, Ted Pike lays out an envious future of the Jews as God's chosen people as set out in prophesy and that the present Israeli state is a counterfeit satanic movement. Central to this teaching is that Israel will not inherit the land through disobedience. See especially his recent expositions of Zechariah and Ezekiel. Pike's message is similar to Brother Nathanael, sounding a warning about the loss of our freedoms through the well funded activities of the Anti Defamation League and AIPAC.

Brian said (March 15, 2013):

MAN was entrusted with God's will to honor and glorify His word through his finest messenger - Jesus Christ.

Those who fell for, and continue to fall for the ruse perpetrated by those who don't maintain their integrity through this honoring and glorifying, through their actions and non-actions, are simply paving the way for tribulation.

You're right in a sense Henry. "In the World ye shall have tribulation", with no rapture. But "the rapture" is one the World can do without. Because using the article "the" in this context is of course a deception unto itself. The true rapture is not about a "time-frame" for its experience. It's the constant state of joy which is inherent within all who know what they are entrusted WITH.

IN rapture, and understanding the responsibility endowed for its maintenance.

James said (March 15, 2013):

Zionism was a political movement for the establishment and support of a national homeland for the Jews in Palestine. It is also a human effort to bring about the fulfillment of many Old Testament prophecies concerning Israel that actually concern a future Messianic Age and have nothing to do with the present age. Under the Old Testament, Jewish possession of the Promised Land was never at any time unconditional. Neither is it unconditional today.

Luis said (March 15, 2013):

Good article & view Henry. To really understand this Christian / Judaism relationship throughout the history there is a great book to read, which start from beginning of Christianity. The book by Maurice Pinay –“ The Plot Against The Church “ 1962. It deals with the Jewish 5th column penetrating into the hierarchy of the church throughout the history.

Dan said (March 15, 2013):

Prophecies have been exploited for political reasons for thousands of years. "End Time" eschatology has been artfully exploited as agitprop, fueling public belief and support in unprovoked wars and occupations that slaughter the innocent. As you know I'm no atheist, but if we're going to seriously resort to Biblical justifications for raining death from above on other people we may as use astrology, and return to medieval 'trial by ordeal' in our court system.

Wade said (March 14, 2013):

As a former pastor this issue hits close to home for me. There is no down side to the post tribulation position when Christ returns and gathers His elect from the four corners of the earth. (Matt. chapter 24). When pre-trib. Christians start to go through the tribulation period they will be very disillusioned and tempted to desert the one they should trust and trust the one they should not trust.(2nd Thess. chapter 2)

This will happen in most Christians in churches today, because they have been fed the false doctrine of a pre-tribulation "rapture". Now God is sovereign and He can do as He pleases. Should he decide to take the body of Christ out of this world before the tribulation or during the tribulation period He certainly has the power.

The problem and potential harmful consequences exist because the churches have taught the pre-tribulation rapture dogmatically. Not as one theory, but as an actual fact as sure as the virgin birth of Jesus Christ.

When those who have been led down this path start to experience the tribulation period (Rev. 6 and Rev 13) they will be thinking
that this is not what I have always been taught and if the church was wrong about this, then the church may also have been wrong
stating that Jesus Christ is God. This sets them up to accept the antichrist, as almost all 501C3 churches will also accept the
antichrist for their own survival, and economic well being.

On the other hand what can possibly shake the faith of those Christians who have been taught that the church will go through the
tribulation period? Once they begin to experience the tribulation their faith is only strengthened, since what is happening is exactly
what they have been taught. On the other hand if God decides to gather His people before the tribulation, these Christians who
have been taught that they go through the tribulation simply find themselves standing before Christ in the twinkling of an eye. No
problem here.

In addition when Christians are taught the truth about the post tribulation gathering of God's people they stand up and oppose
evil at every opportunity. Unlike the pre-tribulation crowd who are apathetic and simply waiting quietly hoping to get beamed up.

Psalms chapter one describes the man of God as someone who does not stand idle and inactive in the path where sinners walk.

Standing passive and inactive in the path where sinners walk is standard procedure in 95% of the so called Christian churches in America today.

Doctrines of devils are winning in most of these churches.

Thanks Wade,

I think we're going to have the Tribulation without the Rapture.

Rev. Pike, thank you for this article, your work on behalf of the Christian Faith is always welcome.

I think when it comes to "dispensationalism" we all should remember to attempt to " rightly divide" the Word. I read a good piece of advice on this subject years ago. Always remember this, WHAT WAS WRITTEN FOR THE JEWS CONCERNS THE JEWS and WHAT IS WRITTEN FOR THE CHURCH APPLIES TO THE CHURCH. We fall into "error" when we attempt to "Judaize" Christianity.

Marcos (Brazil) said (March 14, 2013):

Pike does a very skewed analysis of why Christians support Jewish control of Israel.

First of all, we don't "make" prophecies come true by what we do. Regardless of what we do, prophecies will come true because God has seen the future and His will be done.

Second, the fact that Jews control Israel doesn't make them worthy of the fact. They are there because that was God's plan, not because their of their merit. This is very clear in the Bible.

Third, God uses wicked men and wicked nations several times in Scripture to do His will. It doesn't matter that the Rothschilds helped establishing modern Israel. What is important is that God told us it would be established, and it was.

Fourth, Christians don't approve bad behavior on the part of Israelis, mistreatment of Arabs or cruelty in war. In fact. things such as the atrocities in Lebanon are done only in order to make more people hate the Jews.

Fifth, the situation of Jews is far from being enviable. God prophesied that jews would come back to Israel, but He also said they would suffer, be persecuted and that 1/3 of them would be killed by the AntiChrist. It seems Pike only believes in parts of the Bible and "forgets" to mention the others.

God could have chosen the pigmies if He wanted, but He had to choose (in fact, create) a nation in order to prepare a place for Jesus to be born and to start the evangelization of the world. This nation will one day be the seat of His government. It is just natural that this nation would bring the hatred and jealousy of the world, especially if many individuals from it did bad things. Satan makes a Jew a prime target and he gets special pleasure when he gets a Jews to his side.

Pike's work is floppy and doesn't come from a serious study of the Bible. He is a false teacher. The persecution of Jews is coming, will be ugly, and I don't want to have any part in it, like Mr Pike.
