ODE TO THE ETERNAL Love    by Cornelius G. Bulik

A child's glance, lost in the sky riding the infinity
Overtaking the lines of light in colors of untold beauty
Spouting out and caressing my spirit, planets, stars, galaxies...
These miracles -time, space, matter, energies,
Fulfill my being, each of my cells, my life with ecstasy
And in this round dance I feel with everything in perfect synergy;
I am to Thee united and my soul by Thee fulfilled in Thy mercy
Feels deep peace; and of my heart spring out joys in the immensity;
All my amazed being says to Thee thanks for having blessed me,
In Thy endless love, conceived, chosen and nourished constantly
So that Thy Wisdom takes me by hand, and increasingly
I fuse with the divine harmony. To Thee, all my thanks, heartily.

A unique beautiful blue planet to live on, Thou gave me
And all the necessary to evolve in perfect harmony.
Thou gave me oceans, mountains, lakes, valleys,
Rivers, fertile fields and meadows, all dressed in beauty,
Companions, to support the life, all the children of Ge,
The flowers and the herb of fields, the forests' trees,
The butterfly, the bugs, the swallow, the wolf, the lynx, the jay,
Plankton and corals, fishes, mollusks, shellfish and algae...
Made of me a man, able of understanding and loving Thee,
Thy marvelous work on Earth protect respectfully
So that one day I approach and to Thee, in divine harmony,
I add myself. Thanks Thee for having so much loved me.

After all this happiness, I was tempted to forget Thee
My mentor Prometheus, in his school his pupil made of me.
Diverted from Thee, I made myself new needs unnecessarily,
A new order dictated by my law, invaded mother Earth entirely.
I mistreated the Earth; my food is cooked and made synthetically
Poison is in everything, my dream is a nightmare, I did all foolishly.
My body and my soul of many sufferings are wounded so deeply.
I still took a wrong way when an altar I built to the false god money.
How to return to Eden, to the former order made by Thee?
Of my misfortunes cured, and for Thy laws, respectfully
I come back to Thee and I rejoin Thy divine harmony;
Thy Wisdom takes my hand lavishly. Eternal Love, thanks heartily.
