Glad you asked. It is a movie about men's issues (Some would call it men's rights).
The movie will be premiering in New York and Los Angeles very shortly. The link given below provides this info. Also contained within the link are 75 slides that feature quotes from those interviewed in the movie, definitions of vernaculars used in the MRA (men's rights advocate) community and comments from readers regarding this movie dating back to 2015.
The producer of the movie is Cassie Jay, 30. She needed ground level funding support to complete this project as no major body would grant her any money. She received this funding through many individuals. Cassie had previously received funding for two other motion picture projects. We've read that she originally launched the project to seek a balanced view of men's issues even though she claimed to be a feminist. She later reported how much she had learned by talking to all of the men's issues/rights players featured in the movie. She also reported in various blogs (weB LOGS) bitter opposition to her proposed work. She apparently has mentioned re-thinking her allegiance to feminism.
In the link it was written that The Village Voice in NYC refused to print paid advertising for this upcoming movie (I experienced the same with the WPG Free Press some years ago when trying to place a 'personals' ad for getting the word out about a men's group in WPG. The WPG Sun later printed the same personals ad).
I had entertained the idea of approaching Cinemateque' on Bannatyne in the Artspace Building to see about running the film here in WPG. The cost for acquiring the rights or franchise to play the movie here was too onerous for me to provide so I nixed the idea. Eventually, I will see this picture. By extension I would like you all to learn of this nearly finished movie.
