Mark Glenn's Attack on Jeff Rense

October 23, 2010

Jeff Rense's website and radio program represent an oasis of truth for countless people around the world who can still think for themselves.

That's why it was both puzzling and painful to witness a vituperative attack on Jeff by his erstwhile friend and ally Mark Glenn.

Both these men are courageous and outspoken opponents of Zionist World Government. What triggered Glenn's attack?

Among the thousands of articles Jeff has posted since last summer were two which Mark felt were anti Islam. Mark felt they played into the hands of Zionists who are trying to pit Christians against Muslims and asked Jeff to remove them. Jeff refused. He will not permit anyone to censor his news content or tell him how to run his site.
Mark retaliated by launching a vitriolic attack on Jeff.

Ironically, both imitated the hated Zionists by playing the "hate card."  Mark accused Jeff of inciting hatred against Muslims. Jeff accused Mark of inciting Muslim terror against him personally. Jeff  threatened to call the FBI and Homeland Security on Mark. Mark said Jeff was threatening Mark's wife and nine children.

When I suggested to Jeff that Homeland Security is the antithesis of everything he represents, he agreed. He was just trying to get Mark to understand how seriously he took Mark's readers' vitriol.

Mark-Glenn1.JPG
Jeff argued that these two articles were exceptions among thousands that are pro-Muslim or expose the Zionist NWO threat.

One was a ridiculous Zionist propaganda piece that he had meant to label as such. He expected his readers to recognize it.

Mark Glenn certainly didn't nor did he accept Jeff's explanation. It was called "Demoting Islam's Religious Status," by Martel Sobiesky and argued that Islam isn't a religion.

The other article by Devvy Kidd had the inflammatory title, "Islam a Cancer Oozing Across America" and described the excesses of radical Islam. Jeff felt Devvy was a respected contributor and had a right to examine these excesses. Jeff points to his Disclaimer at the bottom of every article. Posting does not necessarily mean his endorsement.

Mark basically felt that Jeff should present a consistent party line. Jeff felt that good journalism means presenting a range of views. He consistently posted links to Mark's own articles. By Mark's own estimation, Jeff was responsible for 10-15,000 readers each time. In any case, we had two people who should have been cooperating, draining each others' batteries.

JEFF RENSE

The attacks on Jeff simply ignore his extraordinary ability and record of service. He has provided us with the leading alternative to the mass media. Hundreds of thousands of people depend on him. He has worked 14 hours a day, seven days a week, year after year for 15 years. He has not taken a vacation in that time. Yet he has had no formal recognition or thanks.

Rather Jeff is now vilified and accused of being a Zionist mole, which is absurd. People on Mark's site said Jeff's father worked for the Rand Corp. Jeff's father worked in PR for McDonald Douglas. His step mother is a publishing executive.

Before starting his website, Jeff was a nightly on air TV news and anchorman, and often News Director, for network stations across the West.
For 12 years he did TWO live 30-60 min. newscasts a night (6pm and 11pm) -- 5,000 total live, on-camera newscasts.

He could see that TV News was becoming a mass mind control tool for the Illuminati and left a successful career to go into talk radio. He was chosen to face off against Art Bell's Coast to Coast when Bell's network bought Jeff's. There was room for both of them but Art Bell couldn't take the competition and insisted that Jeff be fired.

That's when Jeff went into Internet radio. He has always booked his program guests....around 50 a month.  That's close to 10,000 guests in 17 years.  He produces and hosts the program himself and sells all the commercial ads. He has other websites and a Rense Radio Network but you get the idea.

He edits every news story.
Some days he uploads over 100 stories. No, he cannot read them all from beginning to end.  He readily admits that some things get past him. Let's cut him some slack.

WE ARE A FAMILY

Jeff and I don't always agree. Jeff is a lot more skeptical about the holocaust than I am. He has posted some articles that I found offensive. I thought they did his site a disservice. (We would both like to see an impartial investigation.) I also cautioned him about the anti-Islam articles.

Nevertheless, I respect his judgment and his right to run his web site as he sees fit. Similarly he puts up with some of my choices with which he disagrees.

I also appreciate that he treats Jews as individuals and judges them on their individual behavior. He is not a racist in the sense of condemning all Jews for the actions of so many. When I pointed out that a contributor had advocated rounding up all US Jews, Jeff immediately took the offending article down.

My policy is to never criticize fellow patriots. I cooperate with people on the basis of what we have in common. I don't expect we'll agree on everything. If I can't say something nice, I won't say anything. I focus on what we have in common, and recognize the real good they are doing.

I am sick of ad hominem attacks. Just because someone disagrees, it doesn't mean he is sick or evil or an enemy agent. It's as if the Rockefellers are inaccessible so patriots attack their colleagues instead. Making some one else smaller doesn't make them bigger.

Let's save our venom for the enemy: the Masonic Jewish central banking cartel, specifically the Rothschilds and Rockefellers and their myriad dupes, lackeys and tools. They thrive on division and we fall for it.

Mark Glenn is one of the most eloquent and courageous critics of Judaism, Jews and Zionist hegemony. He has championed the "USS Liberty" story like no one else. If the Liberty story had been heard, 9-11 would not have happened. They were both false flags.

Jeff has given Mark exposure as he has for countless other dissidents.
Hesham Tillawi, a Palestinian activist and friend of Mark's, is a prime example. He continues to be a regular guest on Jeff's show.

We all owe Jeff Rense a vote of thanks. He may have made mistakes but he doesn't deserve the treatment he received from Mark and his followers.

Makow comment: I didn't call Mark but I did read his many statements. I felt I understood his position. He thinks Jeff should be consistent in the positions he presents.

Although some of Jeff's  contributors are anti Islam, I don't believe Jeff is pursuing an anti-Islam line. He has numerous contributors and doesn't  impose a strict "party line." He feels people can use their own judgment.

I wouldn't post these articles on my site but Jeff  conducts his site in his own way. The good work he does more than offsets this difference of opinion.

Instead of trying to pressure Jeff, Mark should have made a reasoned argument against posting these articles. I bet Jeff would have posted a link to it.

The Real Mark Glenn:

(Received Oct. 24)" And Henry, for the record, I am still waiting from a response from you.

And in closing, let me say this--regarding the 'vicious' attacks on Jeff Rense on my site, I cannot fathom for a second what you are talking about, other than possible my referring to his hair. If I wanted to be 'vicious', as you put it, I would have thrown out there all the things that have been floating around now for sometime--that he is gay, that he works for the Mossad and CIA, that his real name is not Rense at all and that he grew up Jewish. None of this was included, therefore all I can say is --so much for your assertion that I was being 'vicious'.

Am I now to expect a similar charge from you concerning the open letter I wrote, that you are now being 'viciously attacked'.

Deeply disappointed Henry, and that is putting it mildly. It is one thing to be attacked by your enemies, but to have something like this come from someone you thought of as a good friend is another matter altogether."

Scruples - the game of moral dillemas

Omar said (October 25, 2010):

agree with a lot of what you wrote re: the attack on Jeff. I also take his website with his disclaimer, and realize that part of his
mantra is to NOT censor anything - let the readers decide.

Jeff has been a bastion, as have you, that much is for certain.

I noticed this too, about the Islam articles. There will always be points of contention in this "family". We will always have doubts and curiosities about what is real, and what isn't. What is fabricated, what isn't.

Sometimes, personal ambition and pure stupidity en masse can generate the illusion of conspiracy -
wherein its just idiots running into each other endlessly. Sometimes i take issue as well when
we look at events which arent meant to be analyzed so heavily.

But, alas, these are all legitimate points of contention. We in this "family" should be open.

However, and this is a big "However" I do think Jeff's site was pushing Illuminati propaganda, unknowingly, regarding Islam.

The Illuminati infiltrated the legitimate Tea-Party, once again, by pandering to "Islamophobia," and Jeff clearly picked up
these articles. At some point, the differences become too start - if we dont know truth from fiction at such a fundamental level,
our information is worthless. Pushing the fear of Muslims is 100% illuminati divide and conquer. You couldn't find a better
modus operandi.

lets keep our sanity and stop pushing that kind of bullshit.

Joseph Ehrlich said (October 25, 2010):

I noted from an article and posting on Rense.com that Jeff Rense is embroiled in another heated dispute.

Let me simply note my position....

Jeff Rense posts articles that I and others do not like. However, I noted that there is not a true trace of any anti-Semitism in him.

Now, he posted some articles, one I note from Devvvy that was read as anti-Islam, and which I noted was the basis of the attack on him.

So let me reiterate the main concepts involved.

First, the Moabites would like to see Jeff Rense retire or quit (in frustration or otherwise).

Second, those Moabite aligned go out a little too extreme in a divide and conquer paradigm. This is what I think is involved here.

Third, I am Ahmadinejad's biggest (and no doubt longest term) Jewish (and probably American supporter). If others claim I am anti-Israel by being so, it would be an unmitigated lie because I am truly pro Israel. Not Nazi influenced or controlled Israel but the Israel that G-d seeks to see from Israel pursuing its biblical obligations and needed course (you are only pro Israel if you are for a theocratic Israel -- one grounded on G-d).

Moreover, would anyone dare point a finger at me and say I am anti-American, when I have been fighting for this nation publishing "Recapturing America" and doing everything to stop the abyss which enemies within and without have put us in today? Likewise, who would attack Jeff Rense for his unmitigated years of public service, making sacrifices that those who point fingers at him never would undertake yet say consider?

Look at the people who attack Jeff Rense. You will see very big egos involved and an agenda that seeks to undermine a last vestige of the heroes and heroism needed for this nation to have any small chance of pulling itself out of the abyss and surviving.

PS. When I recently saw major news media cover Alex Jones, I knew they were making a mistake in trying to move Alex Jones into a parallel plane that Rush Limbaugh held decades back when that EGO driven man was brought forth to address his targeted audience. Do you see anyone ever giving Jeff Rense any credit for his role as a true American journalist?

Dan said (October 25, 2010):

I think Hany the Greek Orthodox Palestinian has made a good statement. Maybe something positive can come of Rense inadvertantly putting more out in the open than Glenn thinks is Kosher. A serious problem of the digital age of which few are yet aware is that the intenet medium has made it possible for individuals to live their lives inside a "reality tunnel" they created simply by choosing only news and views they want to hear.

It's time someone put up a simple Cliff notes in one place that explains straight up what modern mainline Judaism, Christian (generic), and Islam actually believe and what they don't. There's far too much misunderstanding between them. I find the Christian denominations don't understand each other's beliefs because they spend more time correcting other denominations than they do studying their theology for comprehension.

At least Rense has gone further to present more 'sides' to an audience than most will dare anymore. It's taboo. It's what you do too, posting diverse voices, often those which are censored everyplace else.

Michael said (October 24, 2010):

Henry. This is reminiscent of the way Dr. Lorraine Day threw Jeff under the bus because he wouldn't amend his site the way she saw fit. Shorty after the incident, Alex Jones was on Jeff's show during a monthly visit and he correctly put that unfortunate woman in her place. He commented how Jeff was the crux to her success and how deplorable it was that she demanded that of him. Well I think we all know how that ended up. With Alex Jones doing the EXACT thing to Jeff Rense. Basically if you cannot live and let live with various types of information in this new "infowar", than you are gonna get plowed under. Jeff is the real deal as far as I can tell. Lots of good voices out there. Lots of room for everyone.
Alex Jones, Dr. Lorraine Day, Mark Glenn, grow up.

Asim said (October 24, 2010):

I do not trust Jeff rense, even though I still access his website. He has published far too many glaringly pro-zionist articles dismissing Islam, in doing so, providing these rabid hate-mongers and disinformation agents a sense of credibility and insight. Case in point is Frosty Woodbridge. He, as you may well know, wrote a series of deeply outrageous articles claiming Islam a terrorist religion ad naseum. What I found disturbing was the fact that Frosty's articles were never written in mind as objective critical appriaisals of Islamic theology and ethics but more so as an opportunity to express hate filled rants at all things muslim. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good intellectual challenge and every belief system should be placed under the microscope - Islam being no exception.

But to read such subjective, value-laden tripe, backed by no evidence whatsoever raises the question as to why someone with such awareness as Rense, would want to publish such articles? Frosty's articles were resoundly torn to pieces and exposed for what they were by muslim scholars, who in turn demonstrated the truth about Islam by quoting the views of many famous NON-MUSLIMS on Prophet Muhammed and Islam as well as the contributions of Islamic inventions etc. How did Frosty reply? Answer: he didn't.

Not only did he not respond, he actually continued to write his inflammatory articles on Islam, without a single reference to the rebuffs from Islamic scholars. So what did Jeff do? He continued to publish the articles knowing full well that Frosty had been clearly exposed for the Zionist dog that he is. .. and all because Jeff wants to be balanced?????? Bulls**t!

Jeff is a Zionist agent - plain and simple. On the other hand, the whole thing could be a Zionist set-up to demoralize us. Only God knows.

Asim

Jeff is not a Zionist agent. He has dozens of contributors and doesn't police them.

Hany said (October 24, 2010):

I am an American Palestinian. My parents were both born and raised in Palestine; my mother's family were refugees from Haifa in '48 losing everything they owned. I work for Jeff Rense; I edit the audio files for renseradio subscribers. My family is Greek Orthodox by religion not Moslem. It's absolutely ridiculous to demonize Jeff because of articles he has put up on his site. I for one am grateful for his efforts at exposing Zionism. Moslems are not beyond reproach. One time I met a Palestinian working in a convenience store in Whittier, California. I greeted him in a friendly manner. He asked me if I was Moslem or Christian. When I replied that my family was Christian, he replied, "Too bad." I asked why. He said, "Because I hate Christians." Get off your high horses fools. There are Moslems who have been stupid enough to be railroaded by fundamentalism just as there are Jews stupid enough to fall for Zionoism. And there are those that are stupid enough to demonize someone for posting various viewpoints on their site. Quite frankly, as a Palestinian AND an Arab, I've been exposed to Moslems ALL MY LIFE! Fundamentalist Moslems are just as deranged as fundamentalist Christians and Zionist, extremist AND Talmudic Jews. Those of you that think Jeff is a Zionist mole....well there's not much I can say to insanity.

David said (October 24, 2010):

Same with your site. Ocassionally I think your articles are far out and I have questioned sources like John Todd and Fritz Springmeirer,
but your insight and research into illuminism and their programs far outweighs this. Short and to the point. Fearless.

I was not aware of the argument, but then I cannot keep up with Rense's articles. That site is my primary source for a news survey.

Reminds me of the Alex Jones v. Rense fight last year. Alex is almost totally off my scanning activities since he will not address the central issue.

Orest said (October 24, 2010):

Internet radio host Jeff Rense and his website rense.com are a very valuable resource. They're the go-to-first person and place to find cutting-edge material. For example, Rense did a truly first-rate job of reporting on the BP oil spill in the Gulf from the get-go. JR immediately recognized this for the monumentally important story that it is. That JR should slip up now and then, considering the Niagara of information he and his website generate, is perfectly understandable. Mark Glenn says he is unhappy with JR because of a couple articles. It's like MG was telling Jeff he's supposed to be consistently superhuman.

But if one had to critique JR I would say it's for having Tim Riffat on as a regular guest. Tim Riffat has been on at times when I seriously wondered whether he wasn't bellied up to a bar in a British pub somewhere, three sheets to the wind. I say this considering his liberal use for 4-letter words on air and unabashed profession of loathing for Jews and Poles, and other groups, during his interviews with JR. But worst of all has been the numbingly repetitive character of Tim Riffat monologues, with endless allusions to the destructive power of cobalt 60 -- as if the term "cobalt 60" was some kind of private mantra that had to be unfailingly worked into every sentence he utters.

Back to Mark Glenn. He reminds me of the French gourmand who goes to a 3-star restaurant in Lyon and complains about some dish lacking proper seasoning, while at the next table sit Julia Child and her diplomat husband both swooning over the to-die-for cuisine. I think he should cut this chef some slack, considering how many minds he's feeding.

James said (October 24, 2010):

I hope Mr. Rense would display a largeness of character in this flapdoodle and continue to publish Mark Glenn's pieces, as that is the only way I have access to them. Gentlemen, patch things up, for ultimately you are on the same side of justice and that side cannot afford to become divisive.

Jim said (October 24, 2010):

Thank you for your reasonable attitude to this "squabble".
I read your site, Mark's and Jeff's sites every day.
Without all three I would not have a clue of what's going on.
My own personal experience is that some of my Jewish friends are not zionists and we get along just fine.

With those that are zionists and support everything the Israelis do, I just keep my mouth shut.

As a follower of the teachings of Jesus and one who tries to follow the Ten Commandments I judge men and women by their actions, not their mouth.
We should hate evil not men.

I support your work and wish you God's blessings.

Tom said (October 24, 2010):

Jeff Rense may post some good stories but his enemies would describe him as having zero credibility because he also posts lunatic UFO stories.

He may gain respect one day but he loses it all the next day by posting UFO stories.

In fact I would not be surprised if he is some kind of Zionist agent because they want to label all conspiracy theorists as nutters especially Rense who talks rubbish about UFOs and spreads stories about 9-11. By labelling them as stupid they can easily cover up their crimes. Think about it Henry.
---

Tom

Jeff is in earnest about UFO's. I reserve judgment. He is no Zionist agent. If he were, he'd be the worst one ever as he has done most to expose their agenda.

Hoda said (October 24, 2010):

was one of those moslems who were deeply offended by these articles , specially the one about demoting my religion , a religion that more than quarter of the world population believe in, anybody is welcome to criticise moslems but no body has the right to attack Islam , the way Jeff demonstrates through some of his articles , I realy fail to see the need to publish those articles , you yourself explain the benefit for Hisham given to him by Jeff by publishing his articles, so is Jeff trying to spread those ideas to make sure they are known to several thousands more or what , I now dont go Jeff site as I used to , I specially never read any article on his site about Islam, meanwhile I prefer some one like truth seeker and this is where I came across your article.

Don said (October 24, 2010):

Superbly stated!! We cannot afford infighting--great explanation on how to cooperate and have an attitude of understanding...hope everyone takes heed. Great point--we can't touch the Rockefellers so have to pick a fight with each other--some sort of self-validation?--it's creeping up a lot lately--Lord help us..it's like we're steering these battleships in the night and approaching the same, but hidden, enemy--and the tension gets to where the edgy need a tiff with another ship just to sense reality...freaky times, but we have to steer with a steady hand and level head like you said...

Paul said (October 24, 2010):

All of us involved in this movement must needs be careful of what we say and so. You have some wise words here. Some of us have been very influenced by the NWO and have come out with scars and are difficult to get along with and are even irascible. In fact, the more caught up we were in the NWO, the more difficult the process is to come out and it takes years to trust and years to gain trust. I've seen some of the vitriol between the Monarch women and know that it is not to be taken seriously. Anyone who has gone through what they have gone through would do the same thing, say the same thing. The religious right, the pro-life movement, the pro-gun movement, the ex-gay/ex-sexual addiction movement, the anti-big pharma movement, the anti-taxation movement, the survivalist movement etc, etc. all can easily become battlefields of their own.

Magda said (October 24, 2010):

Greetings,
As a long term reader and observer of all three sites. As a Muslim woman who enjoys reading alternative news and theories as opposed to hate, hate and more hate.

I agree with Mark, why give fuel to those who are playing the divide and rule game?
Surely Jeff should recognize that it is counter productive and unbalanced to post the drivel that frosty and devvy write.

I am hurt as Muslim by that nonsense even as I know that you Dr. Makow are hurt by the wholesale, blanket hatred of all Jews instead Zionists of any stripe or creed including Muslim and Christian ones.

I agree with Mark the publishing of these articles contributes to the hatred and vilification campaigns of those who wish to destroy Islam and Muslims.

I am glad, Mark has highlighted that point and enjoy the fact that you do that as well Henry.
Words do hurt and contribute to the loss of innocent lives.

On the other hand, Jeff could have just firmly stated his position and reasoning without threatening the man. That was uncalled for.

Check the end of this video in regards to Muslims understanding that not all others are against them.

By the way, Allah's religion will prevail even if some Muslims in some lands do not.
